Practices:
Rotaional Pasturing.
Feeding Practices:
To minimize the effects on the environment we unroll our bales so all the animals get an equal chance to eat. This allows us to inspect our animals daily. It also allows them to spread the manure so we don't have to. All animals a kept in family units on open pastures.
Soil and Nutrient Management:
We utilize cattle manure and Certified Organic Fertilizer on all pastures and hay meadows
Water Usage Practices:
We have installed frost free waters to minimize erosion and improve water quality. Watering and feeding areas are hardened with Geo fabric and rock.
Additional Information:
We use our own ranch raised cross breed heifers that we breed to registered bulls. Only bulls that are best for producing a lean well marbled product are considered.
