Practices:
we are a 107 year old farming operation. we farm with conventional practices.
Pest and Disease Management:
we use pesticide and fungicide to complete our farming practices.
Soil and Nutrient Management:
we use conventional and animal manures occasionaly.
Water Usage Practices:
we use overhead and ditch irrigation. our wells are situated well inside our farm lines and therefore as for use we are very careful of the chemicals we use..
Conservation/Land Stewardship Practices:
we have three windbreaks to keep the land from blowing in the winter which also provides habitats for birds and small animals.
