Products:
TBD - possibly specialty fruit - we have over 200 different heirloom apples, peaches, pears and cherries - many of which are for culinary use only
Pest and Disease Management:
IPM very low spray and only on the varieties that need it and when they need it
Soil and Nutrient Management:
We fertilize young trees with composted horse manure and some 15-15-15 general lawn fertilizer
Water Usage Practices:
We irrigate our young trees with a drip line system from our rain-filled pond.
Conservation/Land Stewardship Practices:
We've planted black cherry and mulberries trees to keep birds from our fruit crops
Additional Information:
We have a focus on historical Kansas apples. The average grocery store has a handful of choices - we have hundreds.
Organic Products:
We are not certified organic although we do have many no spray trees
